The last time I felt exigence

The last time that I felt exigence was this afternoon when I was in the CSU and someone was yelling my name. I heard my name so I turned around to see who was yelling it. When I noticed that one of my friends had been trying to get my attention by yelling my name, I walked over to where she was standing and asked what she needed.
The exigence that I had felt was the need to respond to someone calling my name.

My First Day of College... So Far

My first day of college has gone completely different than the way that I thought it would be. Beginning with a sleepless night, and worrying about whether I would get to my classes on time, everything has turned out to be surprisingly simple. I have made a few friends walking to my classes, and have learned more than I thought I would in one day. While I was scared that my teachers would be strict and load on the homework, I have managed to complete most of my night's homework in the time I have had between classes. Hopefully everything will continue to go smoothly.
